This notice explains what personal information Tripulse Hyperlocal (run by Tri-Pulse Telecom (Proprietary) Limited) collects, why, and what choices you have. We keep it as simple as we can.
WhatsApp deal messages are optional and switched off unless you turn them on. We keep a record of every yes and every no. You can say no at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp, or in your preferences. After you say no, we stop sending you deals. We may still send messages you need, such as a login code or a reply to something you asked.
We do not sell your personal information.
We keep your information while your account is open and for as long as needed to run the service and meet legal duties. Records of consent are kept as proof of what you agreed to, even after you say no or delete your account (after deletion they no longer contain your phone number). If you replied STOP, we keep that number on a do-not-message list so you are not contacted by mistake.
You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Preferences page in the app. That erases your name, number, email, town and password. To see the information we hold about you, or to have it corrected, email info@tripulsetelecom.com from the address on your account and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you may also complain to the data protection authority in Botswana.
We use passwords that are stored scrambled, confirmation codes, limits on repeated login attempts, and access controls. No system is perfectly safe, so please keep your password private.
Tripulse is not meant for children. If you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we will remove them.
If we change this notice in an important way we will tell you. Questions: info@tripulsetelecom.com.
